A Bibliometric Review on AHP in Banking

The Analytic Hierarchy Process, developed by Thomas Saaty, is one of the most widely used methods in decision-making research. This study aims to determine the extent of the development of research on the theme of "AHP on Banking" in the world. The results of the study show that the number of research publications related to "AHP on Banking" is 207 Scopus indexed journal articles. For the research map related to "AHP on Banking" based on bibliometric keyword mapping, it is divided into 6 clusters, namely: (1) AHP in Banking Strategy Development; (2) AHP for Islamic Banking Customer Analysis; (3) AHP for Problem Identification in Banking Sector; (4) AHP Analysis of Efficiency Models in Banking Companies; (5) AHP for Advertising Effectiveness in Banking Services; and (6) AHP for Banking Sector Evaluation. In the future, these research clusters need to be further elaborated to find a good research agenda and novelty.
