In Indonesia, the management task is carried out by the Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH-Badan Pengelola Keuangan Haji) as mandated by Law Number 34 of 2014. This article aims to summarize and analyze the concepts, policies, investment instruments, and risk management of hajj financial investment as explained in the book What & How to Investment Hajj Finance – BPKH (2020). The method used is a literature study with a descriptive-analytical approach. The results of the study show that Hajj financial investment is not only oriented towards achieving returns, but also emphasizes the principles of prudence, sharia compliance, protection of pilgrims' funds, and the creation of value benefits for the benefit of the people. BPKH implements diversification of investment instruments, layered governance, and a structured risk management system to maintain the sustainability of hajj funds. This article is expected to enrich the literature on the management of hajj funds and become a reference for the development of Islamic social finance policies in Indonesia and other Muslim countries.
2026-01-07T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Halal Tourism and Pilgrimage https://journals.smartinsight.id/index.php/HTP/article/view/715 Hajj Economy: A Bibliometric Analysis 2026-01-23T07:23:35+00:00 Muhammad Syafii Antonio [email protected]
This study aims to map the development and direction of global research related to Hajj Economic through a bibliometric approach and meta-analysis of Scopus indexed scientific publications. This study aims to predict the development of the market size of the global halal fashion industry using a time series quantitative approach. The data used is sourced from the Global Islamic Economics Report (GIER) for the period 2012–2017. The forecasting methods used include Trend Analysis, Multiplicative Decomposition, and Exponential Smoothing with Trend, with the help of POM-QM software version 3. The results of the study show that the global halal fashion industry is predicted to continue to grow in the medium term, with an estimated market value in 2019 in the range of USD 274–279 billion. Based on the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) value, the Trend Analysis and Multiplicative Decomposition methods show a relatively better level of accuracy than Exponential Smoothing with Trend. These findings affirm the positive outlook of the global halal fashion industry and the importance of using the right forecasting methods as the basis for the formulation of business strategies and policies for the halal industry.
2026-01-12T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Halal Tourism and Pilgrimage https://journals.smartinsight.id/index.php/HTP/article/view/702 A Bibliometric Review on Sustainable Wellness Tourism 2026-01-14T05:00:06+00:00 Mimma Maripatul Uula [email protected]
Sustainable wellness tourism is one of the tourism segments that is growing rapidly as global awareness of health, well-being, and environmental sustainability increases. The method used was a descriptive qualitative approach through meta-analysis and bibliometrics-based literature studies on 237 Scopus indexed journal articles. The analysis was performed using the VOSviewer software to visualize the keyword, author, and research cluster maps. The results of the analysis show that sustainable wellness tourism research is grouped into seven main clusters, namely the socio-economic impact of health tourism, the competitiveness of sustainable wellness destinations, wellness tourism during health crises, the integration of ecotourism and sustainability, community-based wellness tourism, cultural and recreational wellness tourism, and the spa tourism economy.
